Technology Company Opens in Henderson

The digital marketing firm Logical Position will expand into Henderson, at 400 N. Stephanie Street, suite 200, and is projected to add thirty jobs to a marketplace.

Specializing in Google AdWords strategy and search engine placement, LP will be the first “Google Partner” company in the city. There are currently six “Google Partner” companies in Nevada that will work with clients whose monthly budgets start at $500.

“We looked at many cities when considering this expansion and Henderson blew the competition out of the water because of its business-friendly environment,” said John Ganey, Co-CEO of Logical Position.

“The city is also filled with hard workers and we are excited to offer them a different option outside of working in the entertainment and hospitality industries.”

The need for strong employees is necessary to LP’s survival, according to company officials. While the four year old company currently employs ninety full-time workers out of its headquarters in the Portland, Ore.-metro area, the allure of working for a technology company has been waning among new recruits.

Dubbed the “Silicon Forrest,” the area is home to many digital marketing firms as well as Intel, Hewlett-Packard and Planar Systems—making the competition fierce for quality workers in the area.

LP has been recognized as one of the “100 Best Companies to Work For in Oregon” by Oregon Business magazine for the last two years and it recently received an award for being one of The Oregonian’s “Top Workplaces.”

Company officaials project overall 2014 revenues of $8.2 million, with $1.1 million of that being from the new Henderson office.

A part owner of the company and current venture capitalist, Rodney Ganey, is a Henderson local. He and his wife, Carol, have been living in the city for five years. They are major donors to Henderson-based charity, HopeLink, and have hosted fundraising events at their Henderson home for the charity.

“I am excited to bring a piece of my business life to a city that I love so much,” Ganey said, via a statement. “I know that Logical Position will thrive in Henderson, not only because of its business-friendly ambiance but also because Logical Position will provide a valuable service to local business owners.

“Internet and mobile marketing are becoming the most cost effective means to get your company’s message to buyers and Logical position has a proven track record in providing measurable results.”

Industry veteran, Eric Speer, will serve as the Henderson office’s General Manager. Speer will aim to create an office that excels in customer service and thoughtful strategy for the clients.

“It is an honor to lead a new adventure for LP because the company has been on my radar throughout my professional career in digital marketing,” said Speer via a statement. “I am looking forward to creating a high energy team of motivated people that will bring the best in digital marketing services to our clients.”

Business owners will have an opportunity to meet Speer and learn more about Google AdWords at a public event LP will host in early April. The first fifty people to sign up and attend will receive substantial advertising discounts. Event details will be available soon.
